Open Fellowships

Sotirova Fellowship|

This fellowship is offered annually. The grant amounts to £3000 for a two month stay in London during the summer 2011. The Fellowship will provide shared office space at the LSE IDEAS centre and access to the LSE Library

 

Visiting Research Students|

Visiting Research Students are expected to play a part in the broad research culture of LSE IDEAS, although there are no formal obligations placed upon them. There are no minimum or maximum periods of stay and fees are charged on a pro-rata basis

 

Closed Fellowships

Africa Research Fellowship|

The Africa International Affairs Programme at the LSE invites applications for the new IDEAS African Research Fellowship. The Fellowship will be for a period of up to four months during the 2011-12 academic year, and will be based at IDEAS at the LSE.

 

Pinto Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Contemporary History|

The Pinto post-doctoral fellowship in contemporary international history lasts for one academic year. This post-doctoral fellowship provides an opportunity for recent PhDs to benefit from a year of involvement with the LSE IDEAS community of scholars.

 

Maurice Pinto PhD Scholarships|

The LSE IDEAS-Cold War Studies Programme awards the Maurice Pinto PhD Scholarship. The award supports research into the Cold War topics. The scholarship covers fees and living expenses and the recipients have research affiliations with LSE IDEAS.

 

Chevening Programme |

The Chevening Programme is organised jointly by the LSE, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, the Embassy of the UK in Beijing, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Peoples Republic of China

 

Foreign and Commonwealth Office Visitors|

In partnership with the UK government's Foreign and Commonwealth Office, LSE IDEAS hosts visiting diplomats to work on research projects. FCO Visitors are an integral part of IDEAS extensive collaborative programme of research and policymaking events with the FCO

 

Stonex PhD Scholarship|

LSE IDEAS together with the International Relations and International History departments are pleased to announce two new Stonex PhD Scholarships. They are are awarded to students demonstrating exceptional ability and achievement in their fields.
