LSE will launch an international collaborative research initiative focused on the historical and contemporary meanings of the Korea conflict in regional, local and global context. East Asia program at LSE IDEAS will soon play a major part in this research collaboration
Student and Staff with an interest in East Asia issues may be interested in the forthcoming Symposium on the Korean War. The event, a unique combination of retrospective presentations on the war and its legacy from veterans, historians, film-makers, diplomats and literary and cultural commentators, promises to be of great interest to those involved in East Asian studies and the contemporary political, social and economic issues of the region.
