LSE IDEAS is housed in Columbia House at the heart of the LSE campus. Its offices are equipped with telephones, computers, printers, photocopier and a fax machine. Fellows have reading and borrowing rights in the British Library of Political and Economic Science and membership of the Senior Common Room. They may attend the public lecture programme at the LSE and, by arrangements, participate in seminars that interest them.
Visiting Research Students are expected to play a part in the broad research culture of LSE IDEAS, although there are no formal obligations placed upon them. There are no minimum or maximum periods of stay and fees are charged on a pro-rata basis. Please note that the application process can take 6-8 weeks, and a little longer over the summer.
