LSESU Health Society

The LSESU Health Society was created for the students enrolled in the health-related Master programmes at London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE):

  • MSc International Health Policy (Health Policy or Health Economics streams);
  • MSc Health, Population and Society;
  • MSc Health Policy, Planning, and Financing (joint programme with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine).

The LSE Health Society is supported by LSE Health and Social Care and the LSE Social Policy Department.

Our aim is to be a platform for communication and information among students, with regards to relevant issues in the healthcare field. We give members an insight into health sector industries, international organisations and governments, but also the opportunity to exchange ideas with fellow students and get to know each other.

Our events are organised along three main lines:

  • Study Trips (e.g. to Geneva, Brussels)
  • Lectures and Public Events
  • Social Events

The Health Society recently received 2 awards from the LSE Student Union for its development and activities:
