APPLICATION FORM|
LSE is pleased to announce our offerings of 4-5 day short courses in the fields of health economics, policy and management. These courses will allow participants to engage with other professionals to achieve one or more of the following objectives, depending on your course choices:

Learn about basic health policy and economic principles

Develop an understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of health systems and health economics

Gain knowledge of management and administration within the context of health care and pharmaceuticals

Acquire practical skills to undertake cost-effectiveness analysis, economic evaluation and clinical trials research
Teaching
All teaching will be provided by London School of Economics staff and some external lecturers from top-tier universities chosen for their areas of expertise. Teaching will be a mix of lectures and seminars, which will be either discussion-based or computer-based depending on the course.
Previous Training
We assume no previous formal training in health economics or policy but expect applicants to show aptitude in quantitative skills through previous coursework or employment.

Please keep in mind these course guides are only for informational purposes. There will be no assessments for students taking these courses and course teachers may change depending on availability. Readings will be distributed electronically prior to the start of the course.
Location
All teaching will take place on the London School of Economics & Political Science campus located in central London.

Fee
£1,950.00 (exclusive of VAT) for 1 course
£3,800.00 (exclusive of VAT) for 2 courses
£5,600.00 (exclusive of VAT) for 3 courses
A discount of 10% will be applied for payment prior to 8 weeks before the start of the course.
Fee includes access to online reading materials.
Note
We require a minimum of 10 students to run each course and will offer a full refund if this minimum student number is not reached.
These courses are not offered for credit towards certificate, diploma or MSc degrees at the LSE. Upon completing the short course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance. If subsequently, a participant decides to pursue a degree at the LSE, the course must be taken again on a for-credit basis after applying through Graduate Admissions| for a MSc programme.
