Bringing together a core team of researchers and academics, LSE Health and Social Care promotes and draws upon the multidisciplinary expertise of 72 staff members, 58 associated academics and a large number of postgraduate students.
There are a number of visiting researchers affiliated to the Centre who contribute to the Centre in a variety of ways, and the Centre hosts visitors from other universities.
Core disciplinary backgrounds for Centre staff include accounting, ageing, applied social statistics, demography, econometrics, economics, geography, health policy, health services research, long-term care, medicine, mental health, psychology, public health, social care and social policy.
