During the 1990s Wang Xiaodong established himself as one of the foremost advocates of a revival of Chinese nationalism to withstand the threats to sovereignty and identity posed by globalisation as China moved away from socialism and towards the market.  Starting as an editor and author for the influential intellectual journal Strategy and Management, his literary career continued with his co-authorship of the popular book China's Road Under the Shadow of Globalization.

This event is free and open to all with no ticket required.  Entry is on a first come, first serve basis.
