Global civil society can be seen as a realm of communication where people discuss issues of public concern. How are activists using communication technologies to create spaces for debate and influence decisions?
Among the speakers are Mary Kaldor, professor of Global Governance at LSE; Nick Couldry, professor of Media and Communications at Goldsmiths; Q-News contributing Editor, Abdul-Rehman Malik; and James Deane, Head of Policy Development at the BBC World Service Trust.
