This event marks the launch of Professor Stiglitz's new book The $3 Trillion War (Allen Lane, February 2008). This new book is a devastating reckoning of the true cost of the Iraq war. The book will be for sale at the event for a specially reduced rate of £17.
Joseph Stiglitz is University Professor of the Columbia Business School. Previous positions he has held include Chief Economist at the World Bank and Chairman of President Clinton's Council of Economic Advisers. Professor Stiglitz was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2001.
Ticket Information
This event is free and open to all however a ticket is required. The ticket request line is now closed as all tickets have been allocated.

Returns Queue
There will be a returns queue in operation for the Old Theatre. Shortly before the event starts we will fill any empty seats left by ticket holders with people from the returns queue. The returns queue will be located on the ground floor of the Old Building, next to the Old Theatre. Entry is not guaranteed to this event via the returns queue and we strongly advise arriving as early as possible to maximise your chances of gaining entry.
