Global Show 2008

LSESU International Society

Date: Thursday 31 January 2008
Time:
7:30pm
Venue
: Old Theatre, Old Building

Global Show, a show where all the great diversity of cultures, styles and perspectives come together, on stage - as ONE.

The Global Show was conceived of and started by the International Society. It features the regional folk dances and songs. It features the unheard of local instrumental performances. It features the spectacular martial arts and new age dancing.

Show strives to recognize, display and acclaim the infinite number of ways man has brought creative joy in his life - and every region has differed in this. Today, when institutions such as the London School of Economics attract students from every corner of the world, such an event becomes necessary.

The ability to experience an event such as this often makes one wonder about the basic questions about life and its origins. About what affected which cultures, and how the responses varied.

This event is free and open to all but a ticket is required.  Tickets for LSE students are, £3, and £4 for others.  Tickets are for sale on the Global Show stall on Houghton Street or by emailing A.Modi@lse.ac.uk|.

Whilst we are hosting this listing, LSE Events does not take responsibility for the running and administration of this event. While we take responsible measures to ensure that accurate information is given here (for instance by checking that the room has been booked) this event is ultimately the responsibility of the organisation presenting the event.
