The alumni community, Houghton Street Online|, usernames and passwords do not give access to LSE Careers, this is being worked on and should be remedied soon.
There are two password protected areas on the Careers Service website: Information for Students and My Careers Service. Each area requires a separate password.
My Careers Service
Access to:
Online vacancy board.
How to obtain:
Go to My Careers Service|, select the 'Alumni section', click 'Sign up here'. You will then be sent a new username and password to the email address you specify.
Information for students
Access to:
Careers information tailored specifically to the needs of LSE students and alumni.
How to obtain:
Currently, we are working to enable LSE alumni to access this area of the website. In the meantime, please contact the Information Team if you have a query and we'll email you relevant information: careers@lse.ac.uk|
FAQs
My username doesn't work when I try to access 'Information for students'?
Only those with current LSE network usernames and passwords can access the Information for current students area of the website.
The password you sent me for My Careers Service doesn't work
Please forward your username and password email to careers@lse.ac.uk| and we will test it - if we are able to log in, we will reset your password for you.
I've forgotten my My Careers Service username or password
If you remember your username, you can request a new a password on the Alumni Section log in page. If you've forgotten everything, email us at careers@lse.ac.uk|
I can't log on to computers with my alumni username and password.
Alumni are welcome to use the dedicated Alumni PCs and Visitor PCs on the first floor of the Library, but are not able to log on to other computers in the School.
I can't access the Vault or Wetfeet Online Careers Library.
The terms of our subscriptions are very strict and do not include provision for LSE alumni. However, we have a wide range of Vault and Wetfeet guides available for your use in the Careers Information Room at LSE. Individual subscriptions are also available at Vault| or Wetfeet|.
