The Asia Research Centre offers a variety of remunerated and unremunerated Fellowship opportunities to pre- and post-doctoral scholars working at all levels. Applications for Fellowships are invited at various points throughout the year with details of application processes, requirements and dates outlined below.

CR Parekh Fellowship
The CR Parekh Fellowship is available to scholars with experience researching on India in the social sciences. The Fellowship is for a period of three months. More »|
Sir Ratan Tata Fellowship
The Sir Ratan Tata Fellowship is available to scholars with experience researching on South Asia in the social sciences. The Fellowship is for a period of up to eight months. More »|
Subir Chowdhury Fellowship
The Subir Chowdhury Fellowship is available to scholars with experience researching on Bangladesh and/or India in the social sciences. The Fellowship is for a period of three months. More »|

Bagri Fellowship
The Bagri Fellowship is available only to full-time LSE PhD students researching on South Asia in the Economics and Governance disciplines. More »|

Asia Research Centre Visiting Fellows
ARC Visiting Fellowships are available to early-stage career researchers (pre-major review) researching on Asia across more than one social science. Fellowships are available for a period of one month to one year, with the potential for renewal of up to three years. These Fellowships have an on-going application period. More »|
Asia Research Centre Visiting Senior Fellows
ARC Visiting Senior Fellowships are available to academics who are of the Lecturer (post major review), Senior Lecturer or Reader level, and practitioners or professionals at a broadly comparable level researching on Asia across more than one social science from one month to one year, with the potential for renewal for a period of up to three years.
