The MRes/PhD programme is offered in twin-track format. Track 1 is a four year programme aimed at students graduating with a first class undergraduate degree in economics. Track 2 is a three year programme for students who have already completed courses equivalent to the first year of Track 1 and demonstrated exceptional performance.
The programme consists of two parts: (A) Taught courses examined by unseen written examination, leading to an MRes in Economics and (B) Research and writing of a doctoral thesis.
