Hellenic ObservatoryThe LSE's Hellenic Observatory invites researchers with a recognised interest in contemporary Greece to submit an application for funding in order to carry out a project on one of the themes highlighted above.

The Call is open to all researchers with a university affiliation, who hold a doctorate (PhD degree) and have at least two years of post-doctoral research experience. Applications from groups of researchers are also eligible, but in this case all member of the research team should meet the eligibility criteria. Applications from researchers who have had an affiliation with the Hellenic Observatory at any time over the past two years as well as from researchers with a current LSE affiliation are not eligible.For full details please see the full text of the Call below.

The LSEE Research Conference will explore the implementation of regional development and decentralisation policies in South East Europe. It will examine how these policies interact and evaluate their effectiveness in different political and institutional environments. Will these policies strengthen the process of Europeanisation or might they deepen localisation and fragmentation of the political and economic systems? The conference seeks to address these issues with a focus on South East Europe, although contributions covering other European regions are also welcome.

The South East Europe Program of L'Institut français des relations internationales (Ifri) and LSEE invite researchers with a recognised interest in contemporary South East Europe to submit an application for funding in order to carry out a project on the following theme: "Mapping Energy Poverty in South East Europe: Status Quo and Policy Options".

The Call is open to all researchers with a University affiliation, Master minimum or comparative research experience. Researchers should come from the region of South East Europe: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Kosovo, Greece as well as Moldova.
