Forum for European Philosophy

The Forum is an educational charity which organises and runs a full and varied programme of philosophy and interdisciplinary events in the UK. 

Our events take various forms but we studiously avoid academic papers. Formats we like include dialogues, panel discussions, public lectures and provocations, all of which are open to the public and most of which are free.

These events are jointly organized with the LSE Chair in Contemporary Turkish Studies

The aim of these events is to take up a theme that goes to the heart of Europe's current or historical self-understanding, and introduce into the discussions input from Turkish scholars or scholars of Turkey's history who might provide a fresh twist to an old story. The theme for this event is:
