Feminist Judgment: A One-Day Symposium|

This one day symposium seeks to explore the nature and problem of feminist judgment. This is an opportune moment to visit the issue, for a number of recent works address the question of how to make judgments while still retaining and building on the critiques feminists have developed of humanism, universalism, and coercive normativity.

With Linda Zerilli, Jennifer Nedelsky, Clare Hemmings, Kim Hutchings and Sonia Kruks. Chaired by Anne Phillips.

Gender Institute Events 2012-13|

The Gender Institute hosts a series of popular seminars, lectures, film-screenings, symposia and conferences throughout the academic year that are open to all. Currently the Events Schedule for 2012-13 is being organised, but so far we already have Richard Dyer and Robyn Wiegman confirmed for our Gendering the Social Sciences Public Lecture series.
