'Local Authorities and the downturn'

New research carried out by Ian Gordon, Tony Travers and Christine Whitehead from LSE London, in collaboration with the Spatial Economics Research Centre, on behalf of the Regeneration and Economic Development Analysis Expert Panel group for Communities and Local Government considers the potential/appropriate role for local authorities in relation to the downturn phase of the current recession.
