The Political Science and Political Economy (PSPE) research group at the LSE brings together faculty and PhD students who do quantitative and/or formal research on political institutions, political behaviour, public policy, and political economy.
We organise a weekly Research Seminar| and Doctoral Workshop/ Work in Progress Seminar|. We also publish a working paper series |and hold an annual conference| (jointly with the Department of Politics at New York University).
We currently have 47 faculty members| from 10 LSE departments (Government, Economics, International Development, European Institute, Methodology Institute, Geography & Environment, International Relations, Social Policy, Philosophy, and Management). We also have a large number of PhD student members.
Our activities are supported by the Suntory and Toyota International Centres for Economics and Related Disciplines (STICERD|) and the LSE Government Department.
