Biography

Edward is Teaching Fellow for the LSE course in Complex Emergencies (DV420) and a PhD candidate on Post-War Reconstruction (case study: Kosovo). During his PhD, Edward has worked as an OSCE, IoM and EU observer /expert in post-war elections in e.g. Ex-Yugoslavia, Iraq, the Fiji Islands, Rwanda and Aceh,Indonesia. Edward's research combines a macro-analysis about the drivers of effective peacebuilding and an analysis of the micro-foundations of civil war and post-war electoral politics. Edward has been a Teaching Assistant and Fellow on the LSE Graduate course in Managing Humanitarianism (Allen) and the SOAS, London University, course on Violence, Conflict and Development (Cramer). Prior to his research at the LSE, Edward was a Management Strategy Consultant for Booz and Company. Edward holds Master's Degrees in Psychology (Gent), European Studies (Leuven) and Development Studies (LSE).
