Opportunities of the week featuring volunteering opportunities from City Year London, FoodCycle, The British Red Cross and the London Youth Games

February 20th – 26th is Student Volunteer Week. To celebrate this there are lots of activities going on at LSE. There will be a stand on Houghton Street on Wednesday, 22nd February, collecting volunteering stories. We’ll also be publishing case studies of LSE students who have been involved in volunteering over the past year and advertising some fantastic opportunities that you can get involved in. Finally, we’ll be launching the search for the ‘LSE Volunteer of the Year’.

The process is changing for Volunteer Centre drop ins on a Friday, 2pm-4pm. If you want a 1-1 to discuss volunteering please ensure that you book an appointment on My Careers Service. Bookings will be open two weeks in advance. Tuesday drop ins, 4pm-5pm, will not be changing and you can drop by for a chat with the Volunteer Coordinator outside Alpha Books in the Student Union without an appointment.
