We are a small team in a large shared open plan office but in a building not owned by LSE, so we cannot receive personal callers. We provide all our services by:
Telephone
The main number has 5 extensions and any incoming call searches for the first available extension. At particularly busy times of the year, and during registrations weeks, you may find that all our lines are engaged and that email is more efficient. Sometimes Data Protection Law prevent us discussing personal details by phone, even with parents.
Web contact forms
If you need to contact us about anything regarding Student Fees and Loans, we recommend you use our Fees Office Enquiry Form|.
If you require any documents from the Fees Office, please use our Document Request Form|.
Email enquiries
We answer most email enquiries within a couple of days. During the Registration period replies will take much longer.
Drop-in sessions
We are available at the Student Service Centre daily between 2.00pm and 3.00pm. No appointment needed. All staff regularly manage all sorts of situations. Very occasionally a complicated problem may need you to have another appointment with a manager. You can also phone the office to request a booked appointment.
Please note: We offer additional drop in sessions for the first three days at the start of Lent and Summer terms, please call in and see us if you have any queries
Monday - Wednesday 11.00-12.00 in the Student Services Centre (This service is only available for the first week of Lent and Summer Terms)
Booked appointments
Please telephone to book an appointment with the Fees Manager for a time to suit you, then we meet you at the Student Service Centre where we have a private interview room. However, please don’t ask to see a manager for routine transactions which could block other students in severe difficulties from the expert help they need.
