Introduction
LSE provide wireless access points in various locations across Campus. Wireless access is not campus-wide, but there are over 300 wireless access points in teaching rooms, open spaces and recreational areas.
Each LSE Hall of Residence has at least one wireless access point in a communal area.

Connecting to LSE Wireless
IT Services now offer 2 methods to connect to the wireless internet:

LSE Secure Wi-Fi is the recommended service. It offers a secure connection with automatic login via PC configuration. LSE wireless users are encouraged to use this service where possible. The following guides can assist you in setting up a connection:

LSE Basic Wi-Fi offers a simple method of connecting to the internet via an LSE login webpage but you will be requried to enter your username and password each time you log on.
Further information
All LSE wireless zones are Wi-Fi 802.11b compatible, although the majority of zones have now been upgraded to Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g. This means that the majority of older wireless network cards should be compatible with the LSE wireless network.
