IT Coaching
for staff and PhD students
Our new coaching service is designed to help staff and PhD students get the IT skills they need to address real-world problems. During coaching sessions you can:

work with a trainer to identify which IT skills will make you more efficient, effective and confident with IT

discuss specific issues or problems you are having with Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, Access databases, PowerPoint presentations, or managing your Outlook inbox and calendar

discuss training needs for a small team or large department
-
work with a trainer to develop and implement an appropriate and effective training programme to meet the needs identified

Software Surgeries
for students and staff
Software Surgeries provide the opportunity to get training on a range of software and web applications, on a drop-in basis.
Bring your queries about:

Statistical software: SPSS, Stata

Qualitative analysis software: Nvivo, Atlas/ti

Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access

Learning technologies: Moodle, multimedia, PRS etc.

Surgeries will be held every Tuesday, from 1-2 pm in R08 throughout Summer 2012.
