D

Delivery
All work is delivered directly to your office or workplace as soon as possible after printing. Delivery times are from 09.30 to 17.30 Monday to Friday. If you need to collect the work yourself or require Reprographics to hold on to your work then please contact the Office Manager on extension 7986 and we will be happy to work to your requirements.

Digital printing
Digital photos and images can be printed on a range of high quality papers. In order that you receive the best possible reproduction of your images, please speak to the Reprographics Technical Manager on ext 7976. However customers should be aware of the difference between low resolution and high resolution images. Many customers will use internet images from their screen, which is probably the lowest resolution possible and not suitable for any form of quality print.

E

Electronic print submission - Eprint
Reprographics, in common with other print providers, uses an electronic print submission system for easy ordering of print requirements. Departmental customers will need to register their details ie Name, Department, Location, Budget Code once. All documents are held in a user's library (for up to six months) from which they may submit their requests.
Please note the current version of Epint is currently being upgraded to a more contemporary version to accommodate MS Office 2010.

F

Fault reporting
All faults with regard to the photocopying provision on campus should be reported to the Office Manager on ext 7986 or emailed to Repro.Admin@lse.ac.uk|

Finishing

The majority of finishing work is included in the job price. Reprographics provides two main types of binding. Most common are tape binding and spiral binding. This work will incur a separate charge.

H

Hard copy
We strongly recommend that electronic copy is used for the submission of print jobs, however this is not always possible. We will always accept work submitted as hard copy. A form can be filled in at Reprographics reception or downloaded here.

High Volume Work
For better cost-effective solutions with long run work, please speak to the Reprographics manager with regards to your requirements. Reprographics can produce a range of promotional materials e.g. two fold leaflets, A5 flyers in colour or black and white. Also conference materials can be sourced such as pocketed folders and name badges. Reprographics has started a system by where any number of name badges can be produced by mail merge and inserted into a contemporary format. These badges are loaned at a minimal charge and are returnable. However for specific requirements please speak to Reprographics.

However for certain jobs (ie Powerpoint slides formatted three to a page with notes) it is recommended that you convert using the schools pdf maker before submitting. See here for detailed instruction.

Perforations
We have equipment available to produce perforations on most documents produced. Minimum document size A4 (width or length) and maximum document size is A3 (length only) .This may be useful if you want to produce forms with tear off strips for replies etc.
