International Women's History Month|

1 March 2012. Today marks the beginning of International Women's History Month. The Month seeks to celebrate achievements of women's movement for equality and considers what still needs to be done.

Equality and diversity statement

The School seeks to ensure that people are treated equitably, regardless of age, disability, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, gender, religion, sexual orientation or personal circumstances.

Equality and diversity are integral to the School's priorities and objectives. We will support inter-faith and inter-cultural dialogue and understanding and engage all students in playing a full and active role in wider engagement with society.

Harassment and bullying policy|

The School is committed to a working and learning environment where people can achieve their full potential. The School's policy and procedure on harassment is designed to provide:

  • an environment where it is clear that harassment is unacceptable, thereby reducing the chance that harassment will occur in the first instance; and
  • a mechanism to resolve complaints where it is felt that harassment has occurred

SPECTRUM|

SPECTRUM is the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Staff Network at LSE. This network is a staff initiative, which sees it in their collective interests to build a representative body in order to promote the interests of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender staff, and to give them a stronger sense of visibility and presence in all aspects of the life of the School.

LSE Circles Network|

A Circle is a support network composed of people who aim to provide mutually beneficial practical, study and social support to other students. Equality Act 2010|

The Equality Act 2010 came into force in October 2010. The Act streamlines and harmonises previously existing equality legislation.
