Postgraduate students can normally request to change their programme of study only during the first three weeks of the Michaelmas term. Any changes outside of this period will only be permitted in exceptional circumstances. If you wish to change your programme of study, you should collect the green form entitled "Request to Transfer Programme" (PDF)|, (Word)|, from the browser wall in the Student Services Centre (SSC), or print off the form using the above link.
You should complete and sign the form, giving an explanation of why you wish to change the programme. The form should then be completed and signed by the programme director of the programme you are leaving and the programme director of the programme you wish to join. Once all the required signatures have been obtained, the form should be returned to the SSC.
If your application is successful, you will receive an email confirmation of your transfer within 5 working days (except during the main registration period in September/October, when it may take longer).
