Changes to registration status for research students
If you hold a Tier 4 visa you should seek advice from the International Student Immigration Service in advance of applying to change study status as any change will have implications for your visa.

If you are a current student and wish to extend your student visa please complete the CAS request form.
Certificate of Registration
A certificate of registration is available from your LSE For You account. This is the official document to confirm your studies at LSE. If you require any further documentation please email us at: researchdegrees@lse.ac.uk|. Please ensure that you include your full name, date of birth and student number (if known) as well as the details of what you would like us to include in the certificate.
Please note that we no longer provide visa letters for visa extensions. If you are a current student and wish to extend your student visa please see the information above.
Requesting Transcripts
If you are a current or past MPhil / PhD student and would like to request a transcript for your undergraduate, taught Masters or MRes degree, please do so via this link|.
Transcripts for MPhil/PhD programmes are not issued automatically. If you would like confirmation of any taught modules that you undertook as part of your MPhil/PhD studies, please email the Research Degree Unit at: researchdegrees@lse.ac.uk|. Please ensure that you include your full name, date of birth and student number (if known) as well as details of the modules undertaken.
