  • Stress management group  – 3 week group starting Thursday 3 May, 11.00 - 1.00.

    This group will help students to develop new coping strategies, manage anxiety and stress, feel more in control, help to challenge negative thinking and look at good self-care, particularly in relation to exams.

  • Exams workshop - revise and de-stress - Wednesday 2 May, 2.00  - 3.00 TW1.U8. For PowerPoint click here.

    This workshop has tips for revision and preparing for exams, as well as many stress management techniques.  No need to book in advance, just turn up at the door.
     
  • Mindfulness and Stress Management Workshop - Tuesday 15 May, 12.00 - 1.00 KSW.2.12 -  For Powerpoint click here.

    This workshop will look at the use of mindfulness as an excellent way of managing stress. Mindfulness is a type of relaxation exercise which can help reduce the amount of time you spend worrying about things. The workshop will look at how you  can combine this with other practical techniques to reduce stress, and better manage the pressures of being a student.
  • Sleep Well workshop - Friday 25 May, 12:00 - 1:00: KSW.2.12 -  For handout click here.

    This workshop will look at a range of difficulties associated with sleep. It will increase your understanding of the process of sleep and explore strategies and ideas about how you might work towards achieving better sleep.
