It is expected that you will attend your scheduled Orientation events, some of which may be compulsory. Students who arrive late have indicated in past years that they they felt they had to work hard to 'catch up' to their classmates who arrived on time, and so it is not recommended that you arrive late. However, challenges with transportation and visas can happen. If you must arrive late due to unavoidable circumstances, please read the information below. The New Arrivals Checklist|, which includes a detailed list of what to do once you arrive in London, will also be particularly useful. (Check back in August for an updated 2012 checklist.)

Postgraduate and undergraduate School orientation events
School Orientation presentations are recorded so that students who arrive late will still be able to access this information. This information will be updated for 2011 in early October. In the meantime, we invite you to view last year's recordings for reference.
To view the School Orientation recordings, please log in using your LSE username and password and choose the appropriate version for your PC. Please note that you will need QuickTime software on your PC to view this presentation.
The automatic lecture capture recordings are about 90 minutes long but the actual presentations are only 45 minutes long. The presentations begin a few minutes into the recording so please just scroll forward on the media player.
