There is an archive of materials on trade unionism collated by Sidney and Beatrice Webb (WEBB TRADE UNION), mainly during research for 'The history of trade unionism, 1666-1920', 'Industrial democracy' and other works. The archive includes manuscript notes relating to various trades; pamphlets and printed material concerning trade unions; and, trade union rule books.

Papers of businesses (such as the Ionian Bank) may include personnel papers.
