Catalogue of the papers of John Watkins, Professor of Philosophy, now available online

The extensive correspondence of Professor John Watkins (1924-1999) has been deposited in the LSE Archives by his family. The archive of over 700 files of correspondence with fellow philosophers from throughout the world includes extensive correspondence with Karl Popper (1902-1994), Paul Feyerabend (1924-1994), Joseph Agassi (1927-) and many others. The archive is now available to researchers and the full catalogue can be viewed on the online Archives Catalogue|.

The archive complements other archives in the Library including the papers of Imre Lakatos (1922-1974), Professor of Logic, and the papers of Sir Karl Popper, available on microfilm in the Archives Reading Room.
