Hall-Carpenter Archives project: 1967 & All That

The 1967 & All That project, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, marked the 40th anniversary of the 1967 Sexual Offences Act which partially decriminalised homosexuality. LSE Archives, which holds the Hall-Carpenter Archives (HCA)| of lesbian and gay activism, and its project partner, the Lesbian and Gay Newsmedia Archive (LAGNA)| at Middlesex University, collaborated on the project to conserve and promote collections significant to the Act.

The project has enabled us to add detailed catalogues of the following collections to the online Archives catalogue|:

In addition to the collections noted above, the online Archives catalogue also contains a complete list of the Hall-Carpenter Archives journals collection (HCA/JOURNALS). In all there are now almost 4000 HCA entries on the online Archives catalogue.

The exhibition which was created for this project is still available online as a blog: 1967 and all that blog|
