Description: Volumes from the library of the economist James Bonar (1852-1941), a leading authority on Adam Smith (1723-1790) and Thomas Malthus (1766-1834). The books were donated to the Library by Bonar's family in 1941. The collection includes works by Bonar himself and by other authors.
