Description: A collection initiated c.1907 by the Constance Hutchinson Trustees, in memory of Constance Hutchinson (d.1895), the daughter of Henry Hutchinson (whose bequest to the Fabian Society led to the founding of the London School of Economics and Political Science). The collection includes works on left wing, radical and revolutionary movements, such as socialism, anarchism, syndicalism, communism and Marxism, and their opponents. The collection is rich in original theoretical works, memoirs, Utopian novels, poetry and songbooks, and serials.
