For 100 years, LSE Library's collections have been at the heart of the life and research of the School, and of internationally recognised importance to the social sciences.
To continue the role as a collecting research library for the next 100 years and beyond, LSE Digital Library has been created to preserve material in all formats and provide access beyond the Library walls. It contains digitised material from LSE Library collections and also born-digital material that has been collected and preserved in digital formats. Most importantly it offers, for the first time, the capacity to preserve digital content and expand this into the future for the benefit of teaching and research.
