We consider you to be a Business Visitor if you are conducting research that has commercial value, eg for a book that is to be published or partners report. You will be charged for library access. If you apply as an individual you are asked to confirm that any and all research you undertake at LSE library is not for profit.
Current Charges
Individual - £15 per day, £50 per week.
Commercial - £750 + VAT per year (provides 5 library passes to be distributed in your organisation.)
Each pass will provide access to the library during our advertised opening hours for external users.
You will also be provided with exceptional access during our restricted access period. At this time access is restricted to LSE students and Staff only.
Each pass will be reference only, we do not offer any borrowing rights.
Access to our course collection is restricted to vacation periods.

When they visit reception they should inform our staff of the commercial nature of the application. They will be required to provide ID and proof of address that is less than 3 months old. Further details are available here.
