Under 18's access to LSE Library.

 

 

 

 

Age 16 and 17

This must be signed by a parent, guardian or teacher and returned to the Admissions Department.

 

Applicants will receive a response to their application in 7 days.

All applicants are expected to give details about the material they would like to consult in our collections, providing references from our Library catalogue |where possible.  Membership will not be granted if material is readily available elsewhere, and we may suggest other libraries which may be more suitable.

Successful applicants will be given membership for 1 to 3 months depending on the amount of material they need to consult. An extension beyond 3 months will require a further application.

 

Ages 12 to 15

Users aged between 12 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult member of the Library at all times. There is no admittance to users under 16 in their own right.  

 

Access To Course Collection Material

 

The Course Collection area contains reading list material which is only available to LSE students and staff during LSE term times. Please check the availability of material on the Library Catalogue|| before your visit.
