Economists Online| is a free subject portal allowing users to access a vast wealth of resources (including working papers, journal articles, books, book chapters and datasets) on economics and related subjects.
It was officially launched on January 28th 2010 by Professor Nicholas Barr from the Department of Economics (LSE). Professor Barr described the service as "A wonderful treasure trove of easy-to-find resources, all the more because so many can be downloaded directly".
Staff at LSE Library were heavily involved in the development of Economists Online, which profiles LSE researchers and their work which is made available from LSE Research Online|.
Economists Online| is run by the Nereus consortium and was co-funded by the European Commission and can be accessed at www.economistsonline.org|.
