I Love LSE Library

LSE Library has recently started a new initiative to help create a more positive environment within the Library for both users and staff.

Throughout the year you will see the logo on many Library publicity materials so lookout for ongoing initiatives to support the campaign. Below are some current initiatives and ways in which you can get involved:

  • The 'I Love LSE Library' logo appears on the Library 'Getting Started' guide and Oyster card holder which you can get from the Welcome Point in the Library
  • Do the Library treasure hunt quiz  and tell us why you love LSE Library. You could win £20 printing/photocopy credit
  • The Library has Group, Quiet, and Silent zones. Please show your 'love for LSE Library' by respecting these zones
  • Share how you feel about the Library and how much you're 'loving' it through our Facebook page or through Twitter tag #lvlselib. Tweets with this tag will be displayed on the plasma screens in the Library and as always your feedback is valuable in helping us improve our service

What is 'I Love LSE Library'?

The 'I Love LSE Library' campaign has been developed in response to feedback from users indicating that they would like to come to an environment that is pleasant, clean and conducive to effective study. Therefore the Library believes that in order to create such an environment it is important that both staff and users respect the space and their peers.

It is hoped that the 'I Love LSE Library' campaign will serve as a constant reminder to all Library stakeholders to embrace the Library as a valued space for themselves and their peers and through this combined 'love' for it, we can all create the nicest possible Library environment.

The Library is dedicated to providing excellent service to its users and creating a positive environment that is to the benefit of all. This will only be possible with your co-operation and support and we hope that you will embrace the campaign, helping us all to 'love LSE Library'!
