If you want to borrow or return items please use the Self Service machines in the Main and Course Collection. Please follow the instructions provided on the screens. Staff are also available on 'floor-walking' duty during the day if you should require further assistance.
To borrow items from these machines you will need your Library PIN. This can be looked up on the LSE For You| web pages or via the catalogue computers in the Course Collection.
If you are returning books, you do not need your PIN number.
Once you have returned your books please place them on the trolleys next to the machine. If the book has been recalled by another library user, it will need to be taken to the Service Counter.
Please always keep your printed receipt as this shows the due dates of your items and also acts as proof that your items have been returned.
Course Collection
All items borrowed from the Course Collection Self Service machines, need to be returned via the Course Collection Self Service machines. If you are borrowing items from this location, you can issue and return more than one item at a time.
Main Collection
All items borrowed from the Main Collection Self Service machines, need to be returned via the Main Collection Self Service machines. If you are borrowing items from this location, you will need to issue and return items one at a time.
