To access self service options on the LSE Library Catalogue, or use e-resources on the Visitor pcs, visitors will need to the use the following user name and password.
User name: the number at the top of your LSE Library card
Password: your surname in capital letters followed by XXX in capital letters.
In the example above:
User name: 315234
Password: SMITHXXX
It is important to note that this password is not secure and you are advised to change your password on one of the Library Visitor pcs at the earliest opportunity. Your login will be at risk if you lose your LSE Library card unless you change your password. Once you have logged in you can change your password by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE and selecting the option for changing a password.
