Library book lockers

The book locker application process for the 2012/2013 academic year will open at 1pm on Tuesday 16 October.  Applications are made via LSEforYou under the Library section. Please note there is a limited number of lockers and they are allocated in order of application. Applications cannot be made in advance of 16 October.

Terms and conditions for locker hire:

Book lockers are available for LSE students to hire, from the start of the academic session. Students are required to pay a £10 deposit for the locker key and a £10 (non-refundable) administration charge.  (During the Summer period the administration charge is £5)

Book lockers are issued for the current academic year only and are non- renewable or transferable.

The lockers are for issued or borrowed books and study materials only. Do not store any un-issued library items or you will be asked to vacate the locker and give back the key.

Users will be required to sign up to the terms and conditions for use and to return keys by the end of June (undergraduates) and September (post graduates).

All students who apply for a Library locker need to abide by the terms and conditions.

Lost locker keys

If you have lost your locker key please report it to staff at the service counter. It will take a minimum of three working days for us to replace the key.  The cost of a replacement key is £5. While you are waiting for your key to be replaced, you may borrow the master key for short periods of time, please ask at the service counter.
