Importing References from LSE Research Online

In LSE Research Online

1. Perform your search as usual
2. When the results appear you are limited to downloading all results, so you may prefer to refine your search
3. Select the Endnote option form the drop down list next to Export Results and click on the Export button. A File Download will appear.
4. Choose Save from the File option on the web browser and click on OK. In the File Name box fill in a name for the file of downloaded references you are creating. Files will be saved as type 'Endnote import file' with the file extension .enw e.g. LSE.enw
5. In the Save In box navigate to your H: space and then click on Save

In Endnote

1. From the Endnote File menu choose Import
2. Click on the Choose File button and navigate to your file of downloaded references from the Open dialog box. Select the relevant file and click on the Open button. The Import Data File box will show the name of the file selected for import.
3. From the Import Option drop down list select the Endnote Import option
4. Click on the Import button.
5. Your results will be added to your library
