  • The Course Collection (ground floor) holds multiple copies of essential course texts.
  • You can short-cut the searching for reading list books by clicking on the Reading lists option on the Library Catalogue.

The Library has a growing number of electronic books. They are accessible to LSE staff and students by using their network username and password.  Major collections include:


Finding books not held by LSE Library

You can search Library catalogues from all over the world to identify material. If you can't get to the holding Library, then you can request material via our Inter Lending service|.

COPAC| is a joint catalogue of major UK research libraries including LSE, British Library, UCL, King's, Wellcome Library, Oxford, Cambridge.

Using other libraries

If you are an LSE student you will be able to use most other libraries of the University of London.

There will be other specialist libraries and collections in London. Check their admission requirements before visiting.
