LSE Anthropology Archives

The LSE holds a number of important archives relevant to the study of the history of Anthropology. They include papers from famous Anthropologists, their fieldwork notes, personal papers and photographs. A key figure is Bronislaw Malinowski(1884-1942)|.

A full listing of the items held and a link to the Archives catalogue (which is separate from the main LSE Library catalogue) can be consulted on the Archives website|.

A separate project has digitised a number of important photographs taken by members of the LSE Anthropology department. These can now be viewed online.|
