This is a short subject guide for students and staff in the Information Systems and Innovation Group of the Department of Management. It contains information on how to find printed and electronic resources in the Library and a selective list of the most useful resources for your subject area.
Information systems is taught in a social science context at LSE, and the Library's collection reflects this. Students in the ISG would also find the subject guide to Management useful. Economics and business databases are useful for ISG students, but there are collections of journal titles specific to information systems. There are several thousand books, but the most important resource for information systems are journal articles and conference proceedings.
The Library does not collect in the technical aspects of computing. LSE students have access to other libraries in London to find this material and advice is given at the end of this guide
