  • South African National ETD Portal
    This site is run by the South African National Research Foundation (NRF) in collaboration with the Committee of Higher Education Librarians of South Africa (CHELSA).It provides access to the full text of many thousands of doctoral PHD and some other dissertations produced in South African universities. These cover the full range of science, social science and humanities topics. There is some coverage from as early as the 1970s although there are larger numbers of post 2009 records. Search by keyword or browse.
  • SwePub
    Useful national repository from over 30 Swedish national universities. Search for references to articles, dissertations and other research outputs covering all areas of the sciences, social sciences and humanities. See the full list of contributors on the website. The extended search feature enables search to be limited to type of material. The full text of many items is online where copyright allows. These include theses. Most full text items from 2000 onwards. Site offers some searching and materials in English.
  • Chinese History Dissertation Reviews
    Chinese History Dissertation Reviews is a new site that will feature overviews of recently defended, unpublished doctoral dissertations in the field of Chinese history. It is to be managed by an international editorial board that include academic staff from Stanford University. Each review contains a summary of the thesis, discussion of the primary sources used and analysis. A good place for keeping up to date.
  • ARGO: National Documentation Centre Greece
    ARGO is a major portal to bibliographic resources which is maintained by the National Documentation centre of Greece. It provides free access to a number of major Greek catalogues and databases. These include: GLAFKA - Database on the Greek society and Hellenism; European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) database; listings of Greek PHD theses; HELM -- Official Gazette of Greece, 1833-1847; The Bibliography of Modern Greek History (1973-1982) and HELLECON - Scientific Publications for the Greek Economy. These resources provide references and in some cases abstracts to journal articles, books, chapter sand reports, many in Greek and produced by Greek authors and universities. All topics from the sciences, social sciences and humanities are covered. With particular emphasis upon history, economy, culture, foreign relations and economy of Greece.
  • Savifadok: digital repository of South Asian Studies
    Savifadok is a digital repository maintained by the Savifa - the Virtual Library South Asia. It a joint project of the University Library of Heidelberg and the South Asia Institute (SAI) at the University of Heidelberg. It aims to provide free access to information, and where copyright allows full text access to documents covering all aspects of South Asian studies. These include books, articles, reports, theses, dissertations and multimedia. All topics from the humanities and social sciences are covered.

ZETOC| - Index to conference papers 1992-present. No full-text, simply tells you where to find the paper concerned, such as in a book or journal.
