Latin America Data base
Consists of three news digests from the Latin American Institute of the University of New Mexico. SourceMex covers economic and political news and analysis of Mexico, NotiSur political, economic and social issues in South America, NotiCen Central American and Caribbean political and economic affairs, including Cuba. The newsletters are based on many sources from international newswires, Latin American radio broadcasts and selected newspapers, official and non-governmental reports. They are particularly strong on statistics and on human-rights issues. Publication is electronically weekly with each issue available in full on the site. There is also a full text archive searchable by date or keyword of all issues from 1986.

To look at today's headlines do a Google search and consult the homepage of the newspaper.

But for more in depth academic research always use NEXIS. Connect to it using the links from the Library catalogue. Links from the newspaper homepages and Google searches may not work!

If you can not find the newspapers you need try consulting the collections of the British Library . There is a good page of listings of newspaper directories.
