Employer led skills sessions
Skills sessions are interactive workshops, designed and run by employers and focus on a key skill area they prioritise during their recruitment process. Skills sessions are small, normally 30-40 students so they are also useful for networking. You don't have to be interested in the company hosting the event to attend. The sessions are designed to be useful to all. Just a few of last year's sessions included:
-
How to demonstrate commercial awareness, Goldman Sachs
-
Negotiation skills. Herberts Smith
-
Maximising your brain power, Standard Bank
-
Pot noodle challenge, Unilever
Employer presentations
Hundreds of company presentations take place during Michaelmas term, mainly on campus, but some at company premises in London. Presentations give you an opportunity to meet company representatives, learn about their graduate programmes and other vacancies, gain an insight into a company and it's culture. All presentations on campus are for LSE students only, allowing you to have exclusive time with the different organisations.
