Meals
Rosebery Hall offers a wide range of hot and cold foods. Vegetarian, halal and kosher alternatives are always available. Five evening meals are served in the dining room, and are inclusive within the rent.
There are limited facilities on each floor for students who wish to prepare hot drinks and snacks as well as a number of vending machines on site.
Facilities
The hall has a communal area with soft furnishing, a pool table and table football.
There is also a small computer room suitable for quiet study as well as a photocopying and fax service. Each bedroom has a data link to the School network|.
There is an inexpensive coin-operated laundry, with irons and ironing boards provided in each kitchen. Disabled access to the building is good and there are a number of disabled bedrooms with a private shower and toilet.
Telephones
Every student can set up their own telephone account, allowing them to make and receive calls and have access to a voice-mail system. For further information visit: Student halls telecoms|.
Cleaning and Bed Linen
Whilst the communal areas of the hall are cleaned daily, students at Rosebery Hall are responsible for cleaning their own rooms. Residents must provide and launder their own bed-linen, pillows, duvet and towels.
Vacation Periods
Students living in Rosebery Avenue have a 31-week contract covering term-time only. Those wishing to stay over the Christmas and Easter vacations will be invited to apply for a space during the first term. Students will not be able to remain in Rosebery during the summer vacation. Those residents with a valid academic reason for remaining in London throughout the summer may be offered accommodation in another residence.
Couples
A limited number of couples are accommodated in twin en-suite rooms in the Myddelton Wing of Rosebery Hall.
